This month, the Employee Spotlight is all about Client Finance Coordinator and Social Security Liaison Stacy Anderson! So, let's all take a moment to get to know her better.
Q: Where are you from? What area of Colorado are you in now?
Born in Salida Colorado, grew up in Boulder, and now I live in Evans Colorado.
Q: What is your color, based on the True Colors training?
My color is blue by a landslide which means I’m in search of myself, need to feel unique, must be true to myself, look for symbolism, value close relationships, are nurturing to people, plants, and animals. That’s just to name a few.
Q: Tell us about yourself in a nutshell.
In a nutshell, I’m a “home body.” I would much rather curl up on my couch with my kids then go out. I like the comfort of a home, but don’t get me wrong, I also love to go to tiny places and play a game of pool or shuffleboard. I love to do artsy stuff with the kiddos, meditate, explore, and don’t forget sleep! Oh, and I can’t cook to save my life!
Q: How long have you been at Overture?
A: I have been with Overture for 2 years.
Q: What is your role at Overture and how would you describe what you do?
A: Basically, I make sure that all of our individuals have Medicaid and are receiving social security.
Q: What do you most enjoy about your workday?
A: Solving problems.
Q: When not at work, how do you like to spend your time?
A: Being with family, watching ID TV, doing new things with the kids.
Q: If you were a superhero, what would your powers be?
A: I would want to fly or read people’s minds.
Q: If you were trapped on a deserted island and could only bring one thing, what would it be?
A: Pillow and a blanket! 😊 I know that’s two things, but they go hand in hand.
